Nestled in the heart of the town of Wellington is an adorable Italian marke called Piccolina Mercato. A self-proclaimed food nerd and epicurean wanderer, her delectable offerings with a Italian flare reflect her adventurous passion for food.
We first met Enid a few years back when she was running her Passport cart parked just west of where her current location is now. The concept of the now defunct cart was that each day, she would explore and offer food from different regions around the world that were inspired by her own travels. Her offerings were absolutely delicious. When she told us she was turning in her set of wheels in exchange for a brick and mortar operation, we knew we were in for something special. That operation was the Enid Grace Cafe which we also loved.
The Enid Grace cafe then morphed into what it is today, Piccolina - a gorgeous spot to grab delicious Italian dishes, pastries, soups, sauces, breads, antipasti and more to take home, all made with finest and freshest ingredients. The only caveat is that while it is such a lovely and intimate venue – it is quite small and it is a very popular spot too! Be patient - it's worth the wait :)
