We stopped by The Old Third this past weekend for a DELICIOUS pasta lunch with friends and had such another amazing experience. Bruno and Jens, an absolutely lovely and incredibly talented pair, launched a weekend pasta bar at their stunning winery last summer - and it quickly became one of our favourite escapes. I included them in a bigger county composition that I did a few months back, but I just wanted to do a separate shout out for them here because I think they are so awesome.

If you are not familiar with The Old Third, their barn is one of the most beautiful in PEC, and if you have a special day on the horizon, it’s a gorgeous, magical event space too. Their ciders and wines are remarkable, the pasta offerings are exquisite and their hospitality is second-to-none. This winery has such a lovely vibe to it - it's SUCH a serene and calm space that has been such a welcome escape for us in these mad times. Menus for the pasta change weekly, so follow them socially for updates, and visit their site and blog too where they share some lovely recipes accompanied by some truly beautiful photographs as well (styled by Jens!).

If you are visiting PEC, for sure stop by for a visit, and if you are lucky enough to be here on a weekend, then you should pull up a chair and treat yourself to a truly wonderful dish of homemade pasta - you won’t regret it :)
