Pivoting Time and Talents for a Great Cause

There is someone pretty awesome in our community, and if you live here or visit often - I am pretty sure you have either met or crossed paths with at one point or another.
Karen Palmer works in the destination marketing for PEC and I met her through my volunteer work with Festival Players of Prince Edward County a few years back (she was volunteering her time as well). In addition to being great at her job - she has a VERY sharp wit, is a multi-talented author, worked as a reporter at The Star for a few years and she also is a talented quilter (!!). She has the most hilarious little dachshund by the name of Chloe and frequently posts photos and videos of her that are super cute and hilarious (if you love dogs, follow her!).
She is also one of those amazing people who recently pivoted her talents and used her mad sewing skills to produce masks for the community. I just wanted to do something to shout out thanks to her for all that she does - we feel pretty lucky to call her a friend - she certainly is good people :)
